Community Hub Underway

After several years of planning, the new Community Hub at NationsHeart is taking shape.

The new building will be the home of our FoodHut which has served people in need for over 12 years. It also allows space for community connection to grow.

In this current season of higher unemployment and strain on households, we expect this Hub will become a place of provision and healing.

The FoodHut provides the chance for people to shop for the food they need at low cost and receive a range of goods free of charge. The FoodHut receives no government support and is staffed completely by volunteers. Around 100 people are supported each year, either as regular members or in crisis response through vouchers or hampers.

The Community Hub is expected to cost $180,000 and $150,000 has already been raised.

You can make a one-off donation or sign up to give on a monthly basis during the appeal.
